Details:

The 5K Honor Walk/Run begins each year at 10:00 am in Trempealeau. The start line is right outside of the Historic Trempealeau Hotel: 150 Main Street, Trempealeau, WI 54661. We have an aid station halfway through the route of the 5K, (at the turn-around point). The aid station is being sponsored by the Ryan Goede family and will provide water to all participants. To see a map of the 5K route, and for much more information, check out the race details page by clicking here. To register for the 5K, click here.

Our 5K events are now timed, which means that everyone who registers and participates will receive a race bib, a high quality technical event shirt, and a medal. We will also be giving out special prizes to the 1st place male and female finishers, not to mention a celebration of life party after the event with coffee, donuts, live music, photos, and much more!

Each year our 5K honors and remembers a different person lost to suicide.

In 2022, our honor walk/run was called
the 'Korry Servais 5K'

in honor of: Korry Don William Servais.

This is Korry's story, as told by his family members:

On April 2, 1989, Korry Servais came into the world. Growing up, he was a fun-loving little boy who brought joy to everyone. Throughout his childhood, he loved to play softball, football, basketball, bowling, fantasy football, playing cards, and snowmobiling. Korry had a love for animals. He had many pets growing up, but his love that he shared with his dog Roscoe was a bond like no other. He loved cows. He started by showing cows for 4-H, where he spent many hours walking and preparing the cows for the big show day. When he was old enough, he started milking for an area farmer, and that was where his heart was. He was a very dedicated and hard worker.

Korry loved to attend Chicago Cubs games, Wisconsin Badger games, and, of course, Packer games with his friends and family. He took numerous trips to watch his favorite teams play with people he loved.

Korry had a deep love for his friends and family. He loved getting together for the holidays with his cousins and aunts and uncles. He not only loved catching up with everyone, but also loved playing a good game of euchre. And, we can't forget all of the double pots he won shaking dice!

Korry will be remembered for his love of sports, being a hard worker, and for having the best smile.
