ABOUT US
The Mini Donut Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) charitable, nonprofit organization that raises money to promote the understanding and prevention of suicide. We also strive to educate the community about suicide, including the warning signs of suicide, where to turn for help if you or a loved one are struggling with thoughts of suicide, and the myths & facts about suicide.
Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, and we want to shed light on this very serious issue and offer hope and help to families and individuals who have been affected by suicide.
The main way that we raise money for suicide prevention and education is through our Mini Donut Half Marathon and 5K Honor Walk/Run.
The Mini Donut founders created this event as a way to honor the family members they lost to suicide.
Every year, the money that we raise at our racing events goes back into the community and is given to various charities and organizations that are affiliated with suicide prevention and education, as well as other mental health initiatives.
Our race event gives people in our community an opportunity to focus on hope, healing, and remembrance. This day is a chance to celebrate life.
Every year we have had an unbelievable turnout with hundreds of people who have come to support our cause. We truly hope you will join us this year!
